for those OOB 1.1.2, aka "unlockable" unit.

no fret. just get those hardware simfree device that would act as a layer between the actual simcard n iphone.

the iphone would then be good to use in singapore. you must however still do the jailbreak to activate the rest of the phone goodies.

[1.1.2] [4.6] iPhone SIM-Based Unlock
What is this about?
Currently, Out-of-the-Box (OTB) Apple iPhones are with the new bootloader 4.6 and 1.1.2 baseband. Phones before week 45 are loaded with the older bootloader version 3.9

What is a bootloader?
Bootloader is a set of software that is hardcoded into a chip within the iPhone that controls its startup and basic functions, much like the BIOS of your motherboard.

Whats the difference between 4.6 and 3.9?
The 3.9 bootloader had an exploit that allowed unsigned codes to be run, hence "flashing" the baseband, and allowing success for the unlock. The 4.6 however, has this exploit fixed. The only way to make modifications now is to have the digitally signed key, which is from Intel, much like a key and lock. This is almost impossible, as it will be like asking Microsoft to release their source codes.

Whats our unlock about?
Basically, our unlock leaves the baseband and bootloader untouched. This virtually eliminates all possibilities of a bricked phone, ensuring the safety of your phone from future patches. In addition, this form of unlock is known to have survived all firmware updates due to its unique method of unlock. Do NOT waste your time. The 4.6 bootloader CANNOT be re-written.

How does the unlock work?
The unlock comes in a form of a small chip that you place on top of your SIM-card before inserting it into your iPhone. A small portion of your SIM card will also have to be snipped to allow the iPhone to read from the chip. The chip contains codes similar to that of an AT&T SIM card, effectively "tricking" the iPhone to think you are on a authorized network.

How do I get this?
Simply place an order with us. Email or at: bootesmeso@gmail.com or drop a PM, preferably with your direct contact number.

SIM Chips: 99 SGD each
iPhone 8GB fully jailbroken with SIM Chip: 920 SGD each

Both come with a set of clear instructions, however, if you wish, other services are available:

Cutting of SIM Card: 20SGD
JailBreak, Activation + Cutting of SIM Card: 50SGD
Repairing of bricked phones: 50-100SGD

For all services, we hereby assume 100% responsibility for any damages incurred. For any unsuccessful service, fees will be refunded. In the event of damage, 100% compensation is ensured.

CHINESE Ultra Slim Simcard aka "Stealthsim" 3RD GENERATION FOR IPHONE

CHINESE Ultra Slim Simcard aka "Stleathsim" 3RD GENERATION FOR IPHONE
Thanks to some of the brothers who PM me asking me to try and get different cards to unlock the iphone. This is the latest card that everyone should be going after.

This is the card that we are all referring to:
Here

There are 3 generations. The card that you're buying will be the 3rd generation. There'are cheaper generations according to that webby.

I understand that 240RMB is the bulk price in Jiangsu province. Therefore i am only able to get it at 300RMB or $61 without any shipping. Shipping will cost $18(including a 2RMB box which i have to buy) by EMS China (takes 2-3days). I only send by China EMS since that is the fastest & safest way since there will be a tracking number for you to trace the item's location.
I have sent other cards to some bros here so they can verify.

1 card = $61+$18+$4=$$83/per card ($4 for my transport to & fro)
As for the shipping cost, i am NOT making any from there as you will be able to see the shipping invoice & cost when you receive the item.

Of course if i handcarry back the items or send all the cards to my colleague in Singapore, the cost is much lower but i cannot afford the time & trouble to arrange that. So if you guys just want the cards fast, this is the best solution therefore i hope you guys can understand the above pricing.

Procedure: If you want to get the card fast, please note the procedures:

1) PM me with the quantity you want and leave your full name, contact & address (important otherwise how to send to your doorstep)
2) I will revert with my POSB Savings A/C details & my China mobile incase you need to reach me urgently
3) Transfer funds promptly so that i can buy asap from the shop at a go instead of going back & forth.
4) When you transfer funds, please leave your nick as according to your hwz nick so i can identify. If you transfer $83, i will take it as you want 1 card.

Please please do not transfer any funds to me until you confirm.

Fastest time you can get the cards is wed/thurs if i send the cards out individually to you guys. Cards will be sent to your doorstep so theres no need to waste time & transport cost for you to meetup

More info:

I am buying these cards in person from the shop as i manage to find a shop which sells this.

p/s: I am not responsible if these cards cannot work finally but i will do my utmost to ask and get the guy to test a card at the shop for me if he's willing as there are just too many ppl there & the environment is not like in SG for those who have been in the mobile 批发中心 shops.

Lastly, i used to be active in hardware clinics but not anymore, so if any of you do not trust me, pls get the cards through other channels as a buyer must feel assured at all times.

Thank you

if you are wondering what the stealthsim is about...
http://www.stealthsim.com/

Universal Solution

iStealthSIM is the only product which allows you to unlock all releases of the iPhone, including European and North American version 1.1.2 OTB ( bootloader 4.6) phones.

Safest Solution
Stealth SIM requires no modification of the baseband on your phone. This makes it the safest way to unlock your phone.

Modifying your Baseband invalidates your warranty. But worse still it is the most common cause of damage to iPhones. Attempts to modify the Baseband can trigger security mechanisms which can render your phone useless, commonly referred to as bricking. Moreover, even if your phone works initially, future updates from Apple could brick your phone.

This has happened in the past, and people have been left waiting for updates, with no guarantee any would be forth coming. The corrupted Baseband would also render your warranty worthless.

With Stealth SIM, should you need to utilize your Warranty, simply restore your phones firmware with iTunes and follow Apples warranty policy.

Simplest Solution

StealthSIM is the simplest solution to unlocking any iPhone. You don't need to worry which version of phone you are buying. Simply purchase a phone and follow the instructions on the support page of the website.

Since the Baseband is untouched you don't need to worry about patches you are applying to secure areas of your phone. You simply need to follow the activation procedure (Jailbreak), install your SIM using StealthSIM and begin enjoying your iPhone.

Secure Solution

With StealthSIM there is no need to share your IMEI with any third party. Or install software on your Baseband which you may not be able to remove if the group that wrote it disappears.

About

iNdependence is a Cocoa-based application for Mac OS X which provides an easy-to-use interface for jailbreak, activation, SSH installation, and ringtone/wallpaper/application installation on your iPhone. It's open source under the GNU v2 license.

The source code for interacting with the iPhone has been broken out into a library (libPhoneInteraction) so that it can be easily reused by other applications.
PLEASE READ THE HELP FILES THOROUGHLY BEFORE POSTING AN ISSUE

Documentation is now available from the Help menu within the application itself. Please read all of it before you post an issue, email me, etc. I can guarantee that 99% of the problems you will encounter are answered there. The rest are likely well documented already in the FAQ or in the issues section. Please also check for duplicate issues there before posting a new one. I just don't have the time to go through the multitude of issues there (many of which are duplicates or simply usage questions and not real issues).
News

Dec. 17/07 - Reports are coming in that iNdependence works with OTB 1.1.2 phones. Note that this means it can jailbreak and activate OTB 1.1.2 phones, but not SIM unlock them. Sorry for the confusion.

Dec. 16/07 - Just added a FAQ. Have a look and let me know if you have anymore questions.

Dec. 15/07 - Quick 1.3.1 release to fix the anySIM installation bug where the permissions aren't set correctly and so anySIM will crash when being run on the phone. Also added documentation for upgrading from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 on a jailbroken 1.1.1 phone. See the CHANGELOG for details.

Dec. 14/07 - Merry Christmas! Version 1.3 is here to bring joy to the world (or at least make jailbreaking 1.1.2 much easier). Sorry, I don't have a 1.1.2 OTB phone to test it with, so I can't say if it works for those phones, but it certainly works fine on my upgraded phone. The CHANGELOG is here. Enjoy, and all the best to everyone for the holidays!

Dec. 12/07 - I'm back. Yes, I'm still alive. And yes, your Christmas present is coming... I'm sitting here with a 1.1.2 phone I just jailbroke and activated with my latest code. I just need to clean up a few things and then I'll release it very soon. In the meantime, grab your favorite beer (Ephemere Pomme in my case) and put Back In Black and Jailbreak on repeat. Life's too crazy to take seriously. Seriously.

Oct. 22/07 - There is a conflict between the version of OpenSSH installed by Installer.app and the one installed by iNdependence. See this issue for more details. Basically, to resolve this, just pick one or the other to install (not both).

Oct. 17/07 - Just released a new tool called 300MBKiller which fixes the problem where iTunes only sees 300 MB of disk space after using iNdependence version 1.2.2 to activate/jailbreak a 1.1.1 phone. If you are having this problem, get it from the Downloads section.
Notes
