Fire Fire Fire
« on: February 29, 2008, 09:34:24 AM »

Quote
At 11.38am today (Feb 29), STOMPer Ziqun spotted a car that  had burst into flames opposite the block where she resides, at Blk 335 Ang Mo Kio Ave 1.

The car was parked in the car park just outside the Ang Mo Kio Swimming Complex at the time. The car, she believes, is owned by someone who lives in her block.

STOMP contacted the SCDF, and it said:

"We recieved a call at 11.19am. The fire was extinguished with a 38mm jet, 1 pumper, and one red rhino. There were no injuries.

"We are still investigating the cause of the combustion," it said.

STOMP also contacted the Police which said:

"The owner of the vehicle was the first person to lodge a complaint when he found his car on fire when he returned to the car park."
