Just some pics of the car I personally wrapped round tree. Note: I wasnt speeding.... but fell asleep. See how the steering wheel bent? It imprinted on my chest BTW. In 1990, Airbags were not in all cars. Mine doesnt have one.

Look at the tree, its darn huge... only has its bark shaved. The damage is horrendous. Drive safe all.

I was lucky to be alive.... My parents thought I was dead when they arrived at the scene. It was buckets of blood all over.

The STOMPer said this happened at about 8.05am today (Feb 1).

He said another motorcyclist had also stopped before him and had called for the ambulance.

"The paramedics arrived shortly after that and did the same thing. They felt his neck and said there was no pulse. They covered his body," he said.

"I felt very sad. I am a motorcyclist and it was a chilling experience. I ride past that road every day and I just don't know how to describe the feeling," he said.

The STOMPer said the rider who had arrived before him said the victim was riding a short distance in front of him from Bukit Panjang.

"He did not see him fall but said the bike may have skidded," the STOMPer said.

STOMP contacted the Police, which said the victim is a Chinese man in his late 20s.

"Police received a call about the accident at about 8am about an accident involving a motorcycle along Bukit Panjang Road towards the BKE," a spokesman said.

"A Chinese man in his late 20s was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics at about 8.30am.

"Police are investigating," the spokesman said.

That rd hav nothing, only reason to be there is to play cornering. This is wat happen when suspension not tune properly. So pls don't cut stock spring and use stock damper if really want to play cornering. Invest in proper suspension.

===============

incidently, was on TPE, BKE, KJE, PIE and for the first time i saw three accidents in one short evening drive. one at the BKE to KJE exit, then along KJE around CCK area, and one more before jurong exit.

what's going on??!

roads wet, and people still speed along at the usual speed they do as per dry.
distance between cars is the same or closer than in dry. (simply asking for trouble.)

why?

do you have to get into an accident before you will ease off?
you would like to get from point A to B without much of an incident/accident, no?

why?
