o, for those that dun know.

SSR stands for SpeedStar Racing. *they closed in 2005. sold to Tanabe. (just remember the Tanabe sticker on the rims.)

http://www.rd-tanabe.com/lineup/speedstar/index.html

Type C n Type C RS is the same line. last time only got type C. now, Type C RS takes over.

i'm running on 17x7 now. the diff between 17x7.5 and 17x7 is just that it can fit much wider tires right?

the weight diff is 0.5kg per rim for 0.5" wider, which mean 2kg diff total!  :o

Can use this link and click on the sizes for available configurations for that size:
http://www.more-japan.com/SSR_typef.php

This is the link for the 17" configuration:
http://www.more-japan.com/SSR/typef/17inch.php

Wheel weight seems wrong.
The lightest 17" after a metric conversion seems to be 6.9kg.
That's medium weight. In no way light.
Even their Type C weights seem wrong. Slightly lighter about 6.7kg.
But it's common knowledge type c is about 5.9kg... Zzzz.
Buay zhun. Maybe they factor in weight for tires?

May have to wait for wheel weight tables to be updated by some of the international
forums, or drop by yap to ask.

the 5.9kg was from a pdf file that was compiled by a vivid wheel collector (bo liaoz). i would trust manufacturer's specification anytime. seems like the type c DOES weigh 6.9kg. so now, i need to find out what's mine (from manufacturer of course).

=(

Jack up e car take one wheel out we weigh ourselves ba..

Andy, Tat! line up ur cars. lol

thanks guys for e suggestions on e rims.
Have seen those b4. super leggra esp.
These range of rims don't really have much differences on the weight.
All very close.

I like e SSR tag. but fav design still 28n.
That's why the type F is a good combination of both.
