interesting, how does this work?

It is installed along the radiator hose, where there is a surface mounted sensor in the housing, with a electrical switch attached to it. 

The sensor comes into direct contact with the coolant, and turns on the fan based on the temp setting... its that simple.

The switch allows the setting for the desired temp (in our local tropical climate, only select between street and track use... temperate countries have one more use).

Complete instructions are included, with no need for the manufacturer’s wiring diagram and no feed taken from the ECU.
