bro, celica really isn't the only available choice out there.  I dun want to discourage u, but most celicas are ageing. Dc5 is a more realistic choice, if u looking for ease of maintenance and lower upfront cost. Saying this nt cos i from honda camp. But, cos I ever considered dc5 before I bought celica. 

And, u dun need scared no mod parts for dc5. Only question is how deep ur pocket n how long u want to keep car.

Wildy, let ppl make their choice....this is celica sg forum, lets not take about how easy/how cheap/ how good other models/parts can get....it all depends on individual...honestly, uptill today....after changing 3 cars from driving celica...i still find celica is one of the best choice...

What u can do is advice them...but dont "BRAIN-WASH" comparing how good a HONDA is and a CELICA is....Been driving DC5 and S2K for the past few years...my advice is the same with CREAKTOR if u have $$$$...it does wonders to your car...

YEOBT and AHQIN, if you have enough $$$...buy a good car like S2K or others to drive,...but please dont force yrself to buy something that at the end of the day, you suffer yrself...

In this club, no matter what car u drive the important factor is, WE WELCOME YOU not because of CELICA CLUB, but we love to have more friends together...i cant be bothered with those who dont come for meetup or come meetup but anti-social and drive on their own...we have such ppl in the club and thus WE TRUELY welcome u to join and have fun together as one.

no prob about that..some ppl might have lots of $$ they can buy what they want. But some have limitations of $$$ so sometimes we must think of other people's pocket....

As paul said, Celicasg is a place where we have the rights to share the views but sharing views must be able to balance yr output. We can comment, no problem but since they are fond of celica and its their first 2 door ride i think its worth the 2 cents to get one and own it...

COnti-cars also never come for meetup talk so much in the forum also no use....if he's a regular metup person and show his "POWER" to us...then we will believe...seeing is believing....
